Type F - Jug

A glazed terracotta jug. It is quite compact, but holds close to 1 litre of water, wine or whatever you want to fill it with. The shape was meant to subtly resemble certain details of existing Mediterranean vessels of both the present and the distant past.

This item is completely handmade in Italy by skilled craftsmen of the Abruzzo region. Any possible irregularity on the shape, color or surface is to be considered a peculiar feature that makes all BASIS objects unique. The glaze used does not contain any hazardous substance or mixture.
