The City of Lights
The City of Lights is a volume documenting the new format of the Salone del Mobile.Milano created for the first time for the event Euroluce 2023: a plural, multidisciplinary and polycentric palimpsest, structured on a program of exhibitions and events dedicated to "light."
The volume has a rich iconographic content that recounts the creative path and design through sketches, photos, floor plans and maps of the pavilions and of the exhibition spaces: a valuable document on the program of activities cultural The City of Lights, a choral project involving artists and curators diverse in stylistic figure, generation and origin, orchestrated by Beppe Finessi.
This volume traces the seven authorial exhibitions mounted Albe. Luci di domani; Costellazioni; Fiat Bulb. La sindrome di Edison; Helene Binet. Natura, tempo e architettura; Interno Notte. Artifici luminosi; Sate... Light. 1998-2022 SaloneSatellite Young Designers; Scintille. Lemmario di parole brillanti) and Maurizio Nannucci's site-specific installation, as well as the various spaces designed by the Formafantasma studio, authors also of the large Aurore arena, a place of meditation and at the same time the stage for Talks given by some of the brightest voices of the lighting project.
